May 6th – May Day Bank Holiday

 In Europe, this is a day of rest for all workers and it is celebrated on May 1^st. But in Britain, it’s like an extra Saturday. It is celebrated on the  first Monday in May. Most of the big stores are open and some people spend the holiday shopping.
